Hospice Wall of Fame has been erected
The Hospice East Rand Wall of Fame has now been erected on the Hospice East Rand premises, in Western Extension.
The Wall of Fame project was launched last year, to raise funds for Hospice; a total of R46 000 was raised.
Members printed their palms on certificates — one to take home and the other to be erected on the Hospice Wall Of Fame at the Hospice East Rand premises.
The ceremony was held at the Italian Club in Boksburg on August 30..
Gerda Baverstock, manager, fund-raising and public relations at Hospice, thanked all those who contributed for their “special and incredible generosity”.
“We value your support; without you, we would probably close down,” said Baverstock.
The Wall of Fame is an annual project and East Randers will have another chance to place their names and hand prints on it when the project kicks off again, in August, this year.
