Village Walk residents spoiled to health-treatments

Residents of the Village Walk Retirement Centre were in for a treat when the SOQI Rynfield Wellness Centre paid them a visit, on May 23.

Owner Johannita Cox and employee Bernice van Loggerenberg invited the residents to be treated with two health-care devices the centre has to offer, including a Meridian Energy Analysis Device (Mead analysis) and the Far Infrared Sauna Dome.

Cox said that, using the Mead analysis, any imbalances and health risks in the body can be established, and she, as a dietician, then advises what the causes might be, and how they can be approached.

The dome’s function is to generate far infrared rays which stimulate blood circulation, by gently elevating the body’s temperature. This is used as a means of healing chronic health problems, as it builds, cleanses and renews cells.

Loggerenberg said the seniors enjoyed the treat and she and Cox enjoyed the time with them.
