English and maths winter school classes for Wattville learnersschool

Wattville's Grade Six and Seven learners who need a bit of help with English and mathematics are invited to attend a winter school, which commenced on July 1.

The classes take place at the Wattville Adult Learning Centre, in Dube Street.

“If you live in Wattville and you are prepared to work hard for three weeks of your holiday, this winter school is for you,” said Bajith Panday, of Rainbow Eduskills.

Classes include computer training and life skills training, and pupils are advised not to miss this golden opportunity.

Classes end with a graduation on July 17.

Panday added that there’s also an opportunity for people to do some community work, by helping to teach the children mathematics and English.

“If you are in Grade 10 and above, please let us know if you would like to participate,” said Panday.

For more information, contact the centre on 011 914 0001 or 011 849 9599, or send an email to busi@eduskillsrainbow.co.za.
