A reward will be paid to anyone with information leading to the positive identity of people responsible for driving through a shop.

A car drove through a café at 68 Harpur Avenue, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The shop owner, Fred Kirsten, said his shop was trashed in the incident.

He thinks the culprits did it on purpose, to steal, but were scared off when the alarm was triggered.

The disgruntled man said the car’s mirror and light were left at the scene.

He is appealing to panel beaters, vehicle towing companies or the general public to contact him with information on 082 569 8172.
