Rynpark Association for the Aged has been chosen as a beneficiary of the Benoni City Times Charity Golf Day, which will be held on Thursday, September 4.

The welfare organisation was founded in September, 1975.

Rynpark’s dedicated staff, under the leadership of executive manager Joe Duvenage, provide a wide range of services to residents of Rynpark.

The mission of management is to improve the care and lives of the aged by transforming the communities within which they live and work.

Management’s vision is to transform the three care facilities into places residents can call home.

The purpose is to upgrade and brighten the facilities, and also guide and grow staff membership.

The organisation runs the Toeka Charity Shop, to which unwanted items can be donated.

Members of the community who want to assist in training staff members, or who want get involved in improving the lives of the aged, eliminate loneliness, helplessness and boredom are welcome to contact Ellen Harmse on 011 747 7005.
