Two drivers lose control of their vehicles, three injured
Three people sustained minor injuries in two separate accidents in Northmead today (August 20).
At about 1.30pm, a man lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Webb Street, Northmead.
The driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road in the opposite direction, close to Sixth Street.
ER24 JHB East spokesperson Glen Orritt said the victim had removed himself from the vehicle, which had landed on its side, when they responded.
The man did not seek hospital care for his minor injuries.
In another accident, two men sustained minor injuries on the corner of Sixth and Spey streets, at 7.30am.
The driver lost control and his vehicle hit a tree. He was transported to the Linmed Hospital for further care.
The passenger was not taken to hospital.
