After winning by a large 7-1 score line in their last ELFA Seniors Super League Division Two encounter, against Parktonians, coach Raymond Cloete’s Old Bens Football Club first team enjoyed the same result against Bedford Saints, on Saturday, August 16.
With three regular first team players absent, Bens showcased the depth of their squad as they ran riot in Bedfordview.
Thamsanqa Hlatshwayo netted a hat trick, while Eduardo Mendes, Kenny Masuku, Teboho Mkwanzi and Silas Modau all added to the score.
Cloete and his men are now certain to win the league and will celebrate their successful season at their next home game, on Saturday, August 30, when they play Parktonians.
Kick-off will be at 3.30pm.
