South African colours for local pole dancers

Four dancers from Anti-Gravity Studio, competed for their Regional colours in pole fitness at the Dance Masters Awards in Pretoria, on 23 August. Regional colours were awarded to all four students: Candice Storm Baker (left), Monique Grobbelaar, Clare Filer and Sylvia Jansen van Vuuren. Grobbelaar, JV Vuuren, and Baker all achieved over 80 per cent for their performances, with Filer stunning the crowd with a 94 per cent score.

Three dancers were awarded their South African Colours in Pole Fitness on August 24. They are Candice Storm Baker, Clare Filer and Sylvia Jansen van Vuuren. All achieved over 80 per cent for their performance in the Dance Masters South African Championships and are now preparing to compete in the American Dance Awards and the Australian Dance Championships for pole dance in 2015 as well as another championship in Boston in 2016.
