Go Christmas light scouting at these spots
With the arrival of the festive season comes the excitement of the town being lit up.
Get the children into the Christmas spirit by showing them the decorated spots.
Community members who are adding to the festive atmosphere with their bright Christmas lights are:
- 73 Carina Street, Morehill Glen.
- All of Patten Road straight down into Carlisle Road, Benoni North Agricultural Holdings, from December 1.
- St Andrew’s Community Church, corner of Miles Sharp and Millburn streets, Rynfield. Tea and coffee will be served.
- 4 Duiker Street, Dewalt Hattingh Park, Mackenzie Park, Benoni.
- 23 Clarke Street, Rynfield. Lights are up and ready.
- 34 Eleventh Avenue, Northmead.
- 35 Ninth Avenue, Northmead.
- 34 Starlight Street, Farrarmere. Lights will be on from December 12.
- 14 Lapping Street, Morehill, Benoni.
Emperors Palace also has its annual garden of lights every evening until January 4, from 8pm.
