Great turn-out at iThemba Christmas Ladies’ Tea

This was the society’s year-end function — both a fund-raiser to get the centre’s medical centre up and running again and a celebration of women.

Members of the public were thanked for the constant support they show to the centre.

Attendees were spoiled with refreshments, snacks and treats.

The women were served by men.

Singer and songwriter, and the society’s ambassador, HunTer, entertained the women with cheerful songs.

Games, giveaways, lucky draws, a raffle, goodies on sale and a photo booth with props added to the fun.

Organiser of the event Michelle Sayer said they were pleased with the turnout, despite having little time to organise the event.
