WATCH: EMPD officer scolds motorist for committing traffic offence
A woman has lambasted an EMPD officer for shouting at her husband after he committed a traffic offence in Etwatwa this morning.

Cecilia Mhlongo said she, her husband Louis, and her daughter Lucy, her four-year-old grandchild and a worker were driving on Loerie Street when an EMPD officer pulled them over.
Louis was parked on the shoulder of the road, apparently blocking traffic.
In a video recorded in the car, the officer is heard raising his voice at Louis.
Watch the video here:
Before the recording started, Cecilia said the officer asked: “Why did you stop here, you are committing an offence.”
She said her husband apologised to the officer after this remark.
“So you are better than me?” the officer is heard saying in the video.
“Stop doing wrong things, do we understand each other?
“I won’t beg you, I do not care who you are.
“You are something at your home, not here on the street – on the street you are just an ordinary driver.
“Do you hear me?”
The motorist replied in isiZulu: “How am I suppose to answer you, I am afraid of answering you.”
The officer later tells the motorist “If you have an attitude on the road you better leave the road”.
Cecilia said she will report the matter to the EMPD and wants an end put to disrespectful traffic officers who demand respect.
EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago said the EMPD has a code of ethics and that shouting at motorists is “not acceptable”.
Kgasago said officers are told to greet motorists, inform them of the traffic offence and enforce the appropriate action if required.
He urged the complainant to report the matter to the EMPD for investigation into the officers behaviour.
