Seven injured in N12 accident
Seven people were hurt in a three-vehicle collision on the N12 highway, before the Tom Jones Street exit yesterday afternoon (March 29).
The accident occurred at around 5pm, on the west-bound carriageway.
ER24 JHB East spokesperson Glen Orritt said two bakkies and a light motor vehicle were involved in the accident.
The light motor vehicle contained a female driver (28) and two male occupants, aged 23 and 29.
The three sustained light injuries and were transported to the Sunshine Hospital.
A man and a woman in their 20s sustained moderate injuries in the half-ton bakkie they were travelling in.
They were transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital.
A man and a woman in their 60s were moderately injured in a one-ton bakkie.
They were also transported to hospital.
The accident will be investigated.
