Honour a loved one’s memory at hospice

Hospice Week takes place from May 3 to 10, and in order to mark the occasion, you are encouraged to write caring and sympathetic words on the Hospice East Rand wall of compassion.

“Hospices nationwide will be launching their wall of compassion, where the public are urged to visit and write their story or words of compassion,” read a press release.

“The aim is for there to be a central place for compassionate stories to be shared and increase the passion for compassion in communities.”

The initiative will also serve as a fund-raiser for Hospice.

You are invited to visit Hospice East Rand, at 218 Kemston Acenue, to write your message and make a donation.

“Messages could be about compassion in general, it could be a message in memory of a loved one or it could be a message of hope for people who are suffering from a life limiting illness.
