Police fail to locate Tobie’s alleged attacker
The Daveyton SAPS were unsuccessful yesterday (May 7), in locating the man accused of beating a dog with a golf club.
Tobie, a four-year-old Jack Russell, was severely beaten on March 2 in Daveyton.
She lost an eye as a result of the assault.
Sgt Constance Moalusi, Daveyton SAPS spokesperson, told the City Times that police conducted a suspect tracing operation on May 7.
She said police will continue looking for the man.
A warrant of arrest was issued for the suspect when he failed to appear in the Daveyton Magistrate’s Court on April 30.
