Five dogs die after being poisoned
Five dogs died in two separate dog poisoning incidents on Springs Road at the weekend.

Tryna Maritz, Crystal Park SAPS media liaison officer, said three of the four dogs died on a property on the corner of Springs and Gwendoline roads, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Two of the canines were fox terriers.
The criminals broke into a Hyundai Getz and stole a GPS.
On Monday morning, another house was targeted on Springs Road.
Two boerboels died and an off-road motorcycle was stolen from the premises.
Maritz said a case of laying of poison, theft out of a motor vehicle and theft of a motorcycle will be opened for the cases, respectively.
The media liaison officer said the last reported dog poisoning case before these two incidents was reported in March.
She encouraged people to report dog poisonings to the police, who will log the incidents and conduct patrols along affected streets.
