Lots of warmth for Oliver’s House

We are all familiar with the phrase "charity begins at home", and Oliver's House is proof of that.

Based in Woburn Avenue, Oliver’s House has provided food, clothing, education and computer training to the community of Benoni.

Aldo and Lynette Romano, of Endeavour Engineering and Refrigeration, donated 145 blankets to the children at Oliver’s House, as part of their yearly winter drive initiative.

Lynette said that, through the blanket donation, Endeavour Engineering and Refrigeration aims to create awareness of businesses assisting communities with the sustainability of children, women and the homeless.

The chidren’s care centre at Oliver’s Village, in Putfontein, cares for 200 children between the ages of six months and six years.

The community surrounding Oliver’s Village is involved in the project to help to uplift their community.

Donations can be made on the Oliver’s House website, at www.olivershouse.co.za.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
