Women inspired at breakfast
Prestige Wealth Managers, based in Lakefield, hosted their annual women's breakfast at Ebotse Golf and Country Estate. on Friday, September 11.
Caron Ehlers, one of the founders of Prestige Wealth Managers, said they hold the breakfast to empower their clients from different insurance companies.
The breakfast is hosted every year in honour of Women’s Month, in order to recognise and acknowledge the women’s role within society and business.
Speakers for the day included Kate Moodley, franchise director for Discovery, who spoke about the importance of women building strong characters and moving up in the work place.
The second speaker, Marlette Hegyi, addressed the importance of persevering in tough situations, setting goals and achieving them.
Hegyi is currently working on summitting the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.
