Accident victim is hospitalised
A 21-year-old man was transported to hospital this morning (October 22), following an accident on the corner of Glen Gory and Elm roads.
According to Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson, when ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene they found that the man had been knocked over by a bakkie.
“The man was lying on the intersection, with his bicycle next to the road,” said Bodasing.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained moderate injuries.
He was transported to the Tambo Memorial Hospital for further medical care.
The details surrounding the cause of the accident are unclear and will be investigated by police.
