Voucher will come in handy

Glen van Niekerk was “choking up” when she saw she had won a R2 000 voucher in her City Times last week Thursday.

The pensioner is the second winner in the Benoni City Times and Pick n Pay Oakfields R2 000 voucher giveaway.

The Rynfield resident, who has never won a competition before, said the money will come in handy.

“I was choking up, do you know what a surprise it is to you,” van Niekerk said when asked how she felt about winning.

“…You do not know how handy this will be; I am a pensioner and a widow.”

She told the City Times she saw the first competition winner (Celeste Geral) in the paper dated April 15, and said: “She is some lucky bugger.”

To coincide with the redesign of the City Times, we are placing one A3 page into one edition of the newspaper every week.

The competition will run until eight people have won R2 000 each in vouchers.

The form is manually inserted into one paper and notifies you that you have won the prize sponsored by Pick n Pay Oakfields.

Be sure to thoroughly look through the paper for the form telling you that you have won – it cannot be missed.

To claim your prize, you have to produce the form notifying you that you have won by no later than Friday, at 3pm.

You will have to produce the page at the Benoni City Times office, located in the Northmead Square. To win the voucher, you need to be a Benoni resident and may not be related to any Caxton employee.

Proof of residence is required.

Winners will have to be willing to pose for a photograph at Pick n Pay Oakfields, which will be published in the City Times and on its online platforms.

In the event that the prize is not claimed, the eight-week long competition will run for an additional week.

Liquor and/or cigarettes may not be purchased with the voucher.

Will you find this week’s voucher? Keep your eyes peeled.
