Man dies as car crashes into tree
A man died after the vehicle he was driving hit a tree in Rynfield.
The accident took place at around 8pm on May 31, near the corner of Pretoria Road and Hills Street.
According to Derek Ramsay, general manager of Emer-G-Med’s south-east operations, the man was declared dead on the scene shortly after paramedics arrived.
“The man, aged around 35, was the only occupant in the car,” said Ramsay.
The cause of the accident could not be confirmed at the time of publication.
