Pekes helped with thousands

Pekingese Haven raised more than R6 000 during a fund-raiser held at Forest Road Lodge, in the Benoni Agricultural Holdings recently.

Lillian Venter, from Peke Haven, said the event was organised to help the Pekingese dogs rescued by the organisation.

“Definitive Edge has pledged R500 to Peke Haven and we challenge other businesses in Benoni to better that contribution,” said Venter.
