According to Col Fredl Jonck, Actonville Police Station commander, the men were arrested at the shop at around 10am, on September 21.
He confirmed that the firearm had been reported stolen in Sebenza, during 2008.
The suspects were expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrates Court soon.
