Community members walk to raise health awareness

Several Benonians took part in the clinic open day and health walk, from the Actonville Stadium to the Mary Moodley Clinic, on Saturday morning (November 5), to raise awareness about health.

The initiative by the management and events committee of Mary Moodley Clinic aimed to create awareness regarding the importance of exercising and going for regular screening, to ensure good health and well-being.

The open day educated and informed the community on the different services offered at the clinic, as well as the various referral pathways and stakeholder involvement.

Through this initiative, the clinic hoped to bring awareness to the community through health promotion, giving people an opportunity to be screened and to be educated on various illnesses, diseases and healthy living.
