Two wanted for Farrarmere armed robbery

A case of business robbery has been opened at the Benoni Police Station, after an armed robbery occurred on Kei Road, Farrarmere.

The incident happened at a health and wellness centre today (November 28), at around 12.20pm.

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said it’s alleged that a woman drove a BMW from The Square at Farrarmere, to the centre on Kei Road.

Sekele said the woman entered the centre and was followed in by two robbers.

“Two men, one of whom was armed, grabbed the woman and demanded that everyone lie down inside.”

The two men drove off in a white Mini Cooper, with an undisclosed amount of money and the woman’s handbag.

No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported.
