Woman dies in N12 accident
A woman died on the N12 highway in a two-vehicle accident this afternoon (January 14).
The collision took place on the west-bound carriageway, just after the Tom Jones Street on-ramp, at around 2.30pm.
Liam Hardy, ER24 spokesperson, said the driver of one of the cars – who was the only person in the vehicle – had already died when paramedics arrived on scene.
The second vehicle had four occupants.
Two females were transported to hospital with moderate injuries.
The remaining male and female passengers did not require hospitalisation.
Authorities were on scene to investigate circumstances surrounding the accident.
