Man exposes himself to St Dunstan’s girls
An incident in which a man exposed himself to a group of school girls has been described as “despicable”.
Rector of St Dunstan’s College, Michael McConnachie, said a man exposed himself to around 10 to 12 girls outside the school’s perimeter fence.
“We alerted security, but by the time they got there, the man had disappeared,” said McConnachie.
Two senior female teachers interviewed the affected learners and counselled them.
Some of the girls opted to go home, while the others stayed at school.
Further counselling will be provided tomorrow morning to the affected learners, and anyone else who wishes to receive assistance.
The rector said additional security was placed at the school.
The description of the culprit was that he is in his mid-30s, is chubby and was wearing 3/4 shorts.
McConnachie said St Dunstan’s College warned other schools in the area about the “despicable” and “hugely unfortunate” incident.
