
The non-profit organisation is requesting donations of the following items:
• Sanitary pads
• Care packs, which include facecloths, body lotion, bath soap, toothpaste, body spray and toothbrushes
• Baby nappies
• Non-perishable food
• Body deodorant for boys and men
• Warm clothes and underwear
iThemba Rape and Trauma Support Centre senior social worker Jath van der Westhuizen said traumatised victims often arrive at their offices hungry, cold and without proper clothing.
Donations can be dropped off at the corner of Kimbolton Avenue and Woburn Street, in the Benoni CBD, during office hours.
