Ward 23 Clr André du Plessis confirmed this to the City Times this evening (March 30), after the motion was passed in the Germiston Council Chambers.
Irrigation will be prohibited between 7am and 5pm.
According to Clr Jacques Meiring (Ward 27), the restrictions on the amount of water to be used by households and businesses will fall away.
