Man injured in Benoni Road accident
A cyclist sustained minor to moderate injuries on Benoni Road this afternoon (March 4) after being knocked down by a vehicle.
The incident happened near Hodgson Road, at about 4.30pm.
According to paramedic Moz Nordin, the male victim, who is in his late 40s, sustained a laceration to the head.
The cyclist was transported to the Far East Rand Hospital for further care.
There were no injuries in the vehicle.
