Two arrested with dagga

Two men were arrested for being in possession of dagga during a stop-and-search operation this morning (April 20).

The operation was conducted by the Actonville SAPS in the Emandleni informal settlement in Wattville.

Actonville SAPS spokesperson Capt Pheello Mothapo said the two were found with dagga valued at R6 000, which was concealed in plastic bags.

Both suspects will be charged with possession of dagga and are due to appear in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court on April 21.
