Three hurt as cash-in-transit vehicle catches alight on N12 near Tom Jones Street
Three people were injured when a cash-in-transit vehicle caught alight on the N12 highway this afternoon (July 17).
The incident happened between Snake and Tom Jones streets, at about 4pm.
Liam Hardy, ER24 spokesperson, said three people sustained moderate injuries and were treated for smoke inhalation.
The unknown items contained in the vehicle were collected by another vehicle.
Two lanes were closed to traffic at 4.30pm.
