Municipality announces water interruptions

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality has distributed a media alert to inform Benoni community members that residents in certain parts of town will experience short-term water interruptions.

The interruptions will occur on Wednesday (October 4) between 9am and 4.30pm.

The municipality is replacing a 200mm steel pipe in Bunyan Street in the Benoni CBD.

The interruptions will affect consumers in Harper and Ampthill avenues.

A water tank will be stationed in Bunyan Street during the repair work.
