On behalf of the Benoni Lakes Lions Club, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for being part of our successful golf day on August 25 through your generous coverage of the event in the Benoni City Times.

Lakes Lions is a ‘model club’

Lions Clubs International is the largest service organisation in the world and consists of over 1.4 million men and women in over 46 000 clubs, in 208 countries and geographical areas.

Our motto is simply “We Serve”.

The Benoni Lakes Lions Club is still a relatively new club in the organisation, but it is a club of dedicated, hard-working Lions who have big dreams.

Fifty per cent of money received from this fund-raiser will go towards our long-term dream, to fund and facilitate the building of a sight and hearing clinic where treatment can be offered for two of our most important senses.

We do, of course, render other services to the East Rand community and your sponsorship will be used to assist those who are needy.
