Paul Raley, chairperson of the Crystal Park CPF, believes the hole was dug today by people working on the road.
He said there are four non-reflective cones near the hole, which have already been knocked down by vehicles.
The hole, which is about 3m wide by 2m long, is in the direction of Petit, near Jarrah Road.
