Share grief when losing a loved one
A DVD will be screened on December 9 to help people deal with the loss of a loved one.
Denise Heatlie of GriefShare said coming to terms with the loss of a loved one is tough during the festive season.

“Grief magnifies the stress that is already part of this festive time of the year, and learning what emotions are normal and expected can provide much-needed comfort and support,” said Heatlie.
She said GriefShare will offer the opportunity to attend a special ‘stand-alone’ session which deals with the issue of surviving the Christmas season. A DVD will be screened which offers practical, actionable strategies for making it through this time and hope for the future.
The screening will take place at the Northfield Methodist Church, at The Well, from 9am until 11am.
Tea and refreshments will be served and entry is free.
