Eight injured in CBD accident
Eight people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in the Benoni CBD this morning (January 15).
The collision, between a taxi and a light motor vehicle, happened on the corner of Kimbolton Street and Newlands Avenue at about 7.30am.
Liam Hardy, ER24 spokesperson, said eight people in the taxi were hurt.
Hardy said their injuries ranged from minor to moderate.
The female driver of the light motor vehicle was not hurt.
