Nicole de Vos, of Rynfield, was shopping at Northmead Square when she saw the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) stationed at the centre on April 4.
On the spur of the moment, she decided to donate blood.

Terrance Pillay, of the SANBS, said people can donate blood at these areas this month: Makro Carnival (April 13 from 9am until 3pm), Rotary drive (Brentwood Park Pick n Pay on April 14 from 9am until 3pm), Daveyton Mall (April 26 and 30 from 9am until 3pm) and Northmead Mall (April 30 from 9am until 3pm).
