The Benoni SAPS thanks the community for providing them with information about a wanted suspect, which led to his arrest in Wattville on May 14.
A photo of the 56-year-old suspect was published in the City Times dated May 11 with a police appeal for information.

“Following the publication of the photo, we received a good tip-off and the arrest was executed,” said SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele.
“I would like to reiterate the importance of tip-offs in crime prevention and urge the community to continue working with the police in this way.”
