Four people were injured and one of them was critical in an accident in Cloverdene on June 7.

The two-vehicle collision happened at the North and Forth road intersection around 1.50pm.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said when paramedics arrived they found the vehicles in the middle of the intersection.

“Three people were found walking around on the scene while a man, believed to be in his 40s, was found seated inside one of the vehicles,” said Meiring.

“The man who was found seated inside the vehicle sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition while the three others sustained moderate injuries.”

The four people were transported to hospital.

The details surrounding the accident are unknown, local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
