The EMPD Freeway Unit and the Gauteng Traffic Police recently arrested 32 motorists for driving under the influence on the N12 between 4pm and midnight.

“Both directions of the N12, at the Putfontein off-ramps, were the focus of the special operation,” said EMPD chief superintendent Wilfred Kgasago.
“All those arrested were male, aged between 24 and 56.
“They will appear in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court soon.”
