Residents in Benoni town get treated as part of Madiba initiative

All in the spirit of generosity

The Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative (VCSI) treated the residents of Deneys Conradie Residentia in Railway Avenue to a lunch and entertainment as a Mandela Day initiative on July 21.

The Willowmoore Rangers and CTC youth group washed the windows and cars for free.

Each resident was fed and treated to free Tai chi and salsa lessons.

The initiative involved the Benoni Community Monitoring Services (CMS), Community Policing Forum (CPF), the Western Extension Business Association (WEBA) and Bad Boyz Security who all played their part to make the day a success.
