One suspect (26) is expected to appear in the Daveyton Magistrate’s Court on charges of being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) members arrested a suspect in Senyoba Street, Etwatwa, on August 29.
“It is reported they found a female suspect on the premises with an S&B 9mm pistol and a total of 52 live rounds of ammunition under her bed,” said BFS WO Grant Giblin.
“The suspect was arrested immediately and the firearm and ammunition seized.”
