EMPD officers from the Kingsway precinct closed down three illegally operated taverns for operating without a liquor license on September 21.
The officers raided five taverns in the Kingsway area around 6pm to 9pm.

Fines were issued to the tavern and alcohol was confiscated.
EMPD spokesperson media liaison officer Kobeli Mokheseng said this is an ongoing operation and inns found selling liquor without proper documents will be dealt with.
