Spooktacular walk through Korsman

Creeping it real at Korsman.

The annual Lake West Halloween Walk took place on November 3 at the Korsman Conservancy in Westdene and was extremely well supported with no less than 3 500 people attending.

Dressed in all kinds of scary, weird and wonderful outfits, attendees began the walk around the conservancy at 6pm. Pets on leashes were welcome.

Entrance was a non-perishable food item in support of the Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora and 540 items were collected in total.

The beneficiaries of the food items are Barcelona, Knights of da Gama, Operation Anti-Freeze, Scribante, Ikaya du Luz, Kwaggafontein soup kitchen and St Alban’s soup kitchen.
