BFS arrest suspects for various crimes

The suspects, aged between 21 and 28, are scheduled to appear in the respective magistrate's courts on charges of possession of counterfeit goods, dealing in dagga and possession of drugs.

Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) members arrested six suspects and recovered a vehicle during recent operations.

“Members on foot patrol in Actonville Hostel came across four people in possession of varying quantities of nyaope,” said BFS spokesperson WO Grant Giblin.

“They were all arrested and the drugs confiscated.”

BFS members also recovered an abandoned white Isuzu KB bakkie in Extention Nine, Mayfield, which had been reported stolen in Kinross.
