The Daveyton police are investigating a case of murder after a 64-year-old man was stabbed to death on Nxumalo Street around 9.30pm.
Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said according to a witness, she was going to the shop when she saw two men attacking the deceased.

“She then screamed for help and the two men ran away,” said Sekele.
“The neighbours came to assist and called the ambulance.”
The man was stabbed in his upper body and the paramedics declared him dead on scene.
The motive of the killing is unknown.
A case of murder was opened at the Daveyton SAPS.
