Young philatelists invited to exhibit
There are three classes to exhibit in which include: Medal, star classes for beginners and club.
The East Rand Philatelic Society (ERPS) invites young philatelists who belong to a society affiliated to the federation to exhibit in the Junior National Stamp Show (JUNASS) from September 4 to 7.
This comes after the organising committee agreed to accommodate them at the East Rand 100 (ER 100) National Exhibition at the Lakes Hotel and Conference Centre, in Benoni, being held to mark the East Rand Philatelic Society’s centenary.

Tom Dooley, committee member of ER 100, said there will be various frames which hold 16 A4 sizes of the history of Benoni, history of the club and two frames will display documents of the very first mines and when Benoni was established.
The organisation also welcomes schools to bring their learners to attend the exhibition for learners to learn more about philatelists.
