Northmead Square business upgrades teenager’s computer free of charge

Ashley couldn’t wait to get his computer home and said that Tommie and Craig have big hearts and he is very happy.

A local business at the Northmead Square made the life of 14-year-old Ashley Bird a lot easier by fixing his computer free of charge after all the parts in the computer case were stolen.

Owner Tommie Fourie was furious after he had heard what happened and put technician Craig Mostert onto the task of replacing everything that was stolen, which took him less than a day to complete.

“We heard what had happened and we did not think it was right and wanted to give back by upgrading his computer,” said Tommie.

His mother, Tarryn, is grateful to them for the upgrade and said her son has been coming to the internet café for the last three years, whether it was to play games or do research for school and he had always been well-looked after.
