Coke murder case continues in Benoni High Court

The case retransferred to Benoni after it was transferred to the Pretoria High Court on September 25, 2018.

The trial of Charles Barker, accused of the murder of Adrianne Coke and the attempted murder of her mother, Bettina-Ann, in Western Extension in 2018, commenced in camera in the Benoni High Court on February 17.

Barker will be cross examined on February 25 by Bettina-Ann’s advocate.

On March 5, 2018, while Barker was on parole for murder, he was arrested after allegedly stabbing Adrianne (21) to death and stabbing her mother, Bettina-Ann (his fiancée), at their home in Kemston Avenue, Western Extension.

Adrianne was declared dead on the scene.
