Daveyton pastor publishes two books
The books will be launched on November 14 at the Matter of the Kingdom Bible Church in Etwatwa.
Daveyton pastor Thabo Kunene, better known as Prophet Change, wants to bring you closer to God with his two new books titled Carrying Your Cross and Becoming a Magnet.
The books will be launched on November 14 at the Matter of the Kingdom Bible Church in Etwatwa.
The 29-year-old said he wrote the books after discovering that life is about overcoming challenges daily.
“God has given us the role to manage the earth and increase what he has created by developing and multiplying what we have or want. This understanding has helped me remain motived on achieving my goals,” said Kunene.
“The first book, Carrying Your Cross, aims at bringing a balance to a Christian journey with God, what to expect from your journey, and how you can benefit from your daily challenges.”
He explained that the second book, Becoming a Magnet, looks at things to follow (Matthew 6:33) by providing guidance on what Jesus Christ focused on, which pleased God before his public ministry began.
Kunene realised in 2017 he wanted to be an author after he wrote his first manual script, The Gospel of John the Baptist.

“The books are for individuals who serve or want to serve God, as they give insight on how to operate in the spirit, how to increase angelic activities in your life and help with discerning the will of God and the will of the enemy in all situations you may come across.
“They also cater for those who have questions about God, how he operates, and why bad things happen to good people,” he said.
Kunene has been a pastor for the past five years and after completing matric he obtained an entrepreneurial development certificate from the Raymond Ackerman Academy and studied renewable energy at the Dr HE Maepa Institute in Boksburg.
The young author is involved with numerous NPOs in Daveyton and Etwatwa, which deal with gender-based violence, mentorship and giving back to those in need.
